INTERNATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM

Dear friends and colleagues.
We are happy to introduce you a unique opportunity to join the international certified training program on Positive and transcultural Psychotherapy. This training program is provided by the World Association of Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP) and International Academy of Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy (IAPP) (Wiesbaden, Germany).
The World Association of Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP) promotes the theory, method and practice of Positive Psychotherapy. It is engaged in the training of postgraduate professionals in psychotherapy, family therapy and counseling in different countries. In addition, the WAPP organizes workshops, lectures, conferences and seminars pertaining to the different aspects of PP as well as cross-cultural exchange of theories, techniques and research.

Participants: 

  • In order to join the training person must have bachelor degree on medicine, psychology, pedagogue or social work. However, other participants may not have required degree and still participate but they will not receive the certificate of basic consultant. The organizers also may introduce a special entry level qualification according to national standards.

Duration: 

  • Several seminars with a total of 120 hours of training during a minimum period of 6 months.

Certificate: 

  • For the Certificate as Basic Consultant: an oral colloquium conducted by the trainer at the end of last course. The colloquium is based on a written homework of minimum 5 pages (one ́s development in Positive Psychotherapy with self-reflection and based on the study of the recommended literature of Positive Psychotherapy). Regular participation at recommended group-work between the seminars.
  • If a participant does not fulfill these requirements, he/she receives only a certificate of attendance.

  • Basic Consultant of Positive Psychotherapy

Costs: 

  • The fee for the seminars is decided by the local organizer. The fee for the Certificate as Basic Consultant has been fixed by the World Association for Positive Psychotherapy.
  • The fee for each training module is 2400 RMB.  The discounted fee for early birds will be set at 2000 RMB (However, we must receive payment by Sept/28) After the 28th the fee will be 2400 RMB.

About Positive Psychotherapy

The method of Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy is known worldwide and recognized by the World Council of Psychotherapy and the European Association for Psychotherapy as a method of psychotherapy. It has been introduced in more than 70 countries. The World Association of Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP) is dedicated to spread this method throughout the world. The WAPP head office locates in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Positive Psychotherapy is based on a psychodynamic concept with a humanistic conception of man and a transcultural approach. It is resource-oriented and conflict-centered. It has been developed by Prof. Nossrat Peseschkian and co-workers since 1968. He has a lot of recognitions and in 2009 he was nominated for Nobel Prize. Positive Psychotherapy belongs to the psychodynamic methods on one side, and to the humanistic psychotherapies on the other side. It is world wide well-known, recognized and accepted by the World Council of Psychotherapy (www.worldpsyche.org) and the European Association for Psychotherapy (www.europsyche.org) method of psychotherapy. Positive Psychotherapy has approved effectiveness and in 1997 was awarded with Richard-Martin-Prize for Quality Assurance.
