This training program is provided by the World Association of Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP) and International Academy of Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy (IAPP) (Wiesbaden, Germany). The World Association of Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP) promotes the theory, method and practice of Positive Psychotherapy. It is engaged in the training of postgraduate professionals in psychotherapy, family therapy and counseling in different countries. In addition, the WAPP organizes workshops, lectures, conferences and seminars pertaining to the different aspects of PP as well as cross-cultural exchange of theories, techniques and research.

About Positive PsychotherapyThe method of Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy is known worldwide and recognized by the World Council of Psychotherapy and the European Association for Psychotherapy as a method of psychotherapy. It has been introduced in more than 70 countries. The World Association of Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP) is dedicated to spread this method throughout the world. The WAPP head office locates in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Positive Psychotherapy is based on a psychodynamic concept with a humanistic conception of man and a transcultural approach. It is resource-oriented and conflict-centered. It has been developed by Prof. Nossrat Peseschkian and co-workers since 1968. He has a lot of recognitions and in 2009 he was nominated for Nobel Prize. Positive Psychotherapy belongs to the psychodynamic methods on one side, and to the humanistic psychotherapies on the other side. It is world wide well-known, recognized and accepted by the World Council of Psychotherapy (www.worldpsyche.org) and the European Association for Psychotherapy (www.europsyche.org) method of psychotherapy. Positive Psychotherapy has approved effectiveness and in 1997 was awarded with Richard-Martin-Prize for Quality Assurance.
