Dr. Azin Nasseri
Dr. Nasseri specializes in marriage and family counselling and has over 25 years of experience supporting individuals and families. He integrates evidence-based theories of psychology with principles of applied spirituality.
Dr. Nasseri completed his doctoral studies through the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (USA) and received his master’s degree and advanced training in marriage & family counselling in Switzerland. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Vancouver Island Counselling Centre for Immigrants and Refugees. Previously he served as the Chief of Psychology for Parkway Health Medical Centre in Shanghai, China. He is also the author and co-author of a few books. Including Journey Through the seven Valleys and The Unity-Based Family, as well as his clinical dissertation that advanced the theory of Moral Trauma. Dr. Nasseri has been happily married for over 30 years, and has three children. He and his family have been living in Victoria, BC for the past three years.
