Trip Barthel
Trip Barthel was the Founder (1999-2009) and Executive Director of the Neighborhood Mediation Center in Reno, Nevada. He has a M.A. in Conflict Resolution and enjoys conducting imaginative and interactive teaching and training experiences at conferences, schools and in the community.
Trip has conducted over 400 mediations, 42 arbitrations and trained over 3,000 people in courses ranging from 2 to 40 hours. Training venues include the National Judicial College, University of Nevada, Reno, the Corrine True Justice Center in Denver, Colorado and Shivaji University in Panchgani, India. Trip is past President of the Nevada Dispute Resolution Coalition and a member of Association for Conflict Resolution. Trip serves on the Advisory Boards for Mediators Beyond Borders and the Asia Pacific Mediation Forum.
Trip, and his wife Cindy Savage, currently live in Shanghai.
